Abstract
This article is about Climate Neutral Urban Districts. It builds upon the conclusions gained in the CLUE-project. The concept of climate neutral districts is a yound field of discourse and a new planning approach facing many challenges. Climate neutral districts can make a valuable contribution to the necessary transformation towards low carbon societies. However, ambitions and reality diverge. Decision-making and practice in cities are not ready yet for a full implementation of the big number of necessary measures.
